Riverbend Arts Council
In this concept, Riverbend Arts Council is an arts organization dedicated to promoting and supporting local artists and
cultural events in the community. Their mission is to enrich the cultural landscape and provide opportunities
for artistic expression in their community, and thus the goal was to capture this in the website.
On the landing page, we accentuate the colors of a paint stroke by using a clean, minimal design that allows the artwork to take center stage to reflect their mission. On the events page, the goal was to replicate the feeling of looking in an art magazine, or being in an art gallery. We didn't want to fill the space with unnecessary information, because the focus is on the art and events, and the feel of the organization in this instance is more important than extraneous details, so on the page is simply art and event details.
